Plant Diameter: Size Varies
Light: Adaptable. These gorgeous plants adapt to various light conditions. They prefer bright or filtered light. Good locations include a spot in front of a north-facing window or in front of a bright, sunny window covered by a sheer curtain. Although these beauties tolerate low light, bright light will bring out the colors in the leaves.
Water: 4-5 days. Being desert plants, Sansevieria needs water less frequently. Allow the soil to completely dry out before watering, and then water deeply until water drips through the drainage hole. Allow the pot to drain and then discard the water that remains in the saucer. Like most succulent plants that store water in their leaves, these plants rot quickly in excessively wet soil.
Fertilizer: Add 1:1:1 fertilizer to the water every three weeks throughout the summer. These plants are light feeders. Too much fertilizer will make the leaves fall over. Do not fertilize during the winter months.
Repotting: Repot these plants into a container one size larger only when the roots outgrow the current pot. These plants thrive when its roots are crowded - they may even bloom in this condition. Fill the container with a lightweight potting soil. Remove dust with a damp cloth. If any leaves are damaged or blemished, cut them off even with the soil.
