CARING FOR AIR PLANTS
In humid environments, air plants just about take care of themselves. They are epiphytes, meaning they get their moisture and nutrients from the air. They live best when exposed to the air and cannot tolerate being potted or placed in soil. They do well in indirect sunlight and a warm environment. For watering, you've got two options: either mist them lightly every day or soak them for an hour once a week. If you plan to soak them, place on a paper towel to dry and then place them back on display.
