Tree Fern Care

Hailing from the Northwest, Tree Ferns add a delicate, luscious green to any environment. They can be very tricky to care for though. Here are some of our tips on keeping your Tree Fern looking like a fairy wonderful all year long.

Light: Bright, indirect or filtered light. Offer this plant a place in your window where they will not get direct sunlight but can see the sky. They can take direct morning sun for an hour or so but any longer will burn the leaves.

Water: Never let your tree fern plant dry out. They need frequent watering and humidity - just as they would receive under the canopies in the jungle. When the topsoil in your tree fern is dry you will want to water it. Another tip is to plant your tree fern in a large pot to assist it with moisture retention.
