Bonsai Care

Bonsai is a Japanese art form using cultivation techniques to produce, in containers, small trees that mimic the shape and scale of full-size trees. While we do sell these beautiful plants, we are not experts in Bonsai techniques.

Below are some tips on how to care for your Bonsai. If you are interested in learning more about the art of pruning, we recommend you check out the Bonsai Empire for more information.

___

Light: Position your bonsai in a spot with plenty of sunlight but away from direct heat or drafts.

Water: We recommend avoiding a watering routine with these lovely beauties. Check the soil daily and water 1/4 cup of diluted water when it appears dry.

Pruning: Maintaining your bonsai should be done regularly to maintain the shape of your bonsai. Maintenance including snipping away branches, buds, and leaves. Wire branches to shape them into a wire design.
